Tasteful drama and sparkle
Good internal structure supports this gown. There is an internal zippered bust support with metal boning that keeps the weight of the gown from pulling it out of place. I found that the bottoms of the stays were uncomfortable against my skin so I wore high waisted shape wear underneath but otherwise that would not have been necessary.
I am a 34 ddd and could have gone braless in this gown. I slightly preferred the silhouette with a long line strapless bra but again not mandatory for fit or modesty due to the structure.
The sequins are beautiful and shimmery. The gown has great movement and it is not too scratchy like some beaded gowns can be.
I am 5’7” and wore 3” heels. The length was perfect and I did not require a hem. I sized up because my last purchase from Halston was snug (I find their satin gowns to be less forgiving than other fabrics) and I probably could have stayed in my usual Halston size.
